Karazhan Stuff

So, my guild just crushed Illhoof, Nightbane, and the Prince, hoorah! We were totally on a roll, but then Netherspite put us in our place... hopefully they fix the bug with his breath (he does 2000 more damage than he is supposed to apparently) so he will be a bit easier. So, what did I get from this week's Karazhan run?

THIS HANDY DANDY Lightning Capacitator!

The Mage & Warlock both didn't want it, and so it was me and a Shaman rolling on it, both of us healers, he rolled an 83, and I pulled out a 93. Our leader who was on his Paladin (He used to be a Mage) was crying on the inside, but handed it over to me reluctantly. I'll probably be one of the few Paladins out there with the opportunity to try out this nifty gadget (The circumstances of getting your hands on one over a spell crit heavy class are slim obviously), and I'll report my findings. Maybe this will help my grinding go semi-quicker with judgments, holy shocks, exorcisms, and Holy Wraths, who knows.

The Retribution Gear Hunt

Well, currently I'm going into Retribution... or at least plan to by the end of the month. I've got some gear to collect, and it's going to be hard getting it without being Holy (especially in Heroics). I made use of WoW Forums Retribution Guide and Kaliban's Loot List both which were extremely helpful in deciding upon gear, and finding easy upgrades.

This is my current gear setup with items I can get easily from questing and what I already have in my inventory:

Weapon: Endbringer

Libram: Libram of Zeal

Helm: None (I'll probably spend spirit shards on Exorcist's Scaled Helm OR get X-52 Technician's Helm)

Chest: None (I'll probably get Leonine Breastplate)

Shoulders: None (I'll probably get Eagle Crested Pauldrons)

Hands: None (I'll probably and get The Hands of Fate)

Belt: Girdle of Gallantry

Legs: Ornate Leggings of the Venerated

Boots: Ornate Boots of the Sanctified

Wrist: Bracers of Just Rewards

Back: Royal Cloak of Arathi Kings

Neck: None (I'll be aiming for Insignia of the Mag'hari Hero)

Rings: Aggressor's Mark of the Sha'tar & Spellsword's Mark of the Redemption

Trinkets: Fettish of the Fallen & None (For now I'll get Core of Ar'Kelos)

I'm torn...

I can only assume it's the same price cost as the other one-handed main hand weaponry for the two maces, figure out the off-hand based on the other off-hands, if there are any.

However, my issue comes with... do I want this awesome healing mace with no MP5 on it that I can use for PvP, or do I want the awesome shield that I can use as my wannabe holytankadin self (instead of waiting for a shield to drop when we have a tank who doesn't need it)... or maybe I can just tank with the +healing shield from heroic medals... I'll have to check it out. Gear decisions make me cry.

Update: It appears that the mace off the Maiden of Virtue in Karazhan is getting a MAJOR buff to +378 healing, along with MP5, etc. So... it looks like I may be going the route of the Shield after all.
